WI-FI SURVEY
Room-by-room Wi-Fi survey log
Record real RSSI, latency, throughput and loss at the same points, then compare before and after—without a predictive heatmap.
Measurement rule: Use a representative value from 2–3 runs with the same device, point, server and time window. This tool runs only in your browser; it neither transmits nor auto-saves input.
2. Measurements and weak points
| Phase | Room | Point | AP | Band | RSSI | Latency | Speed ↓/↑ | Loss | Note | Rating | Action |
|---|
Rating rule: Needs improvement if any metric is RSSI below −75 dBm, latency above 100 ms, download below 10 Mbps, upload below 3 Mbps, or loss above 5%. Fair if any metric is RSSI below −67 dBm, latency above 50 ms, download below 25 Mbps, upload below 10 Mbps, or loss above 1%. The worst metric wins; also judge raw values against your service requirements.
3. Before/after comparison
- No matching pairs yet.
Only before/after rows with the same room, point, AP and band are paired. Higher RSSI and throughput, but lower latency and loss, indicate improvement.
